to-the-point Wind Prospect to advise on 15 MW of PV projects in S Africa

November 11 – Renewables consultancy Wind Prospect Group Ltd said on Friday that its African unit has been selected to serve as the lenders technical advisor on three solar projects that would add 15 MW of generation capacity in South Africa.

The Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) has hired Wind Prospect Africa for the job. The latter will assist with the pre-construction due diligence and construction monitoring of three 5-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) projects that won preferred bidder status under the first round of the small projects Independent Power Producers Procurement Programme (SP-IPPPP).

Wind Prospect did not give more details about the projects.
