to-the-point Thai property developer Sena invests in 46.5 MW of PV
January 8 – Thai property developer Sena Development PCL (BKK:SENA) said on Thursday it has purchased a company previously known as TT Renewable Energy Co Ltd that has interest in solar parks with a combined capacity of 46.5 MW.
The firm, now known as Sena Solar Energy Co Ltd, has investments in five 8-MW plants and one 6.5-MW facility. Three are based in Nakhon Pathom province and the rest are in Saraburi.
Last June, Sena said it planned to expand into the solar power industry and for this reason had formed a couple of alliances, including a partnership with US company First Solar Inc (NASDAQ:FSLR).
