to-the-point Tekno Ray Solar commissions 18.5-MW of PV in Turkey
May 6 – Turkish project developer Tekno Ray Solar commissioned on Wednesday the 18.5-MW first phase of the 22.5-MW photovoltaic (PV) power facility in Konya province.
The plant consists of over 74,000 solar PV modules supplied by China’s Yingli Green Energy Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:YGE) and inverters made by Germany’s SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:S92), according to information on the developer’s website.
The total cost of the project is estimated at around USD 22 million (EUR 19.3m). Tekno Ray Solar says that this is the largest PV park in the country.
