to-the-point Solartech’s Aug 2016 revenues fall 45% y/y

September 8 – Taiwan-based solar cell maker Solartech Energy Corp (TPE:3561) saw its August 2016 revenues drop by 45.3% on the year to TWD 582 million (USD 18.2m/EUR 16.5m).

On a month-to-month basis, sales went down by 12.34%, according to the company’s website. In January-August 2016, Solartech’s revenues reached TWD 7.43 billion, which is 21.01% higher than in the corresponding period of 2015.

In March, Solartech recorded its biggest monthly revenues so far in 2016 — they reached TWD 1.12 billion. The second-highest result was reported in January, when total sales amounted to TWD 1.11 billion.
