to-the-point Solarpack to invest USD 30m in Chilean PV plant
March 11 – Spanish solar power developer Solarpack will invest USD 30 million (EUR 26.9m) in a 50,000-panel solar plant, scheduled to enter construction by the first half of 2017.
The announcement was made on Thursday by the government of Panquehue city where the plant will be built. Nicholas Harding of Solarpack Chile presented the details around the project to mayor Luis Pradenas, San Felipe’s governor Eduardo Leon and regional energy secretary Jorge Olivares.
Currently, the project is going through a review by the Environmental Assessment Service.
