to-the-point NEXTracker to supply 105 MW of trackers to GroSolar
Apr 21, 2015 08:47 CEST
April 21 – US single axis solar tracker maker NEXTracker Inc will supply trackers for 105 MW of distributed generation (DG) solar power projects to be carried out by GroSolar across the US.
Under a master supply agreement unveiled on Monday, the trackers will be delivered over the next three years. The first project will be a 2.4-MW installation in the midwestern US.
“DG is a fast-growing segment of the solar market and NEXTracker is thrilled to be expanding our presence in this area,” NEXTracker chief executive Dan Shugar said in the announcement.
GroSolar chief executive James Resor said that NEXTracker’s technology provided flexibility for the company’s typically layout-constrained DG projects. GroSolar is a solar engineering, procurement and construction company specialising in the 1 MW-30 MW segment.
