to-the-point Japan’s G Three orders 14 MW of modules from Solar Frontier

January 15 – Japan’s information technology (IT) company G Three Holdings Corp announced Friday it has ordered 14 MW of solar modules from Solar Frontier KK.
The deal, made through G Three’s subsidiary Eco Bonds Co Ltd, involves the supply of about 82,000 solar modules for the Izumi Okubo Mega Solar Plant, located in Kagoshima prefecture.
Up until now, the total amount of solar modules procured from Solar Frontier byG Three is 108,000, giving the project an output of 18.5 MW. Once completed, the photovoltaic (PV) plant is expected to have a annual generation capacity of 22 million kWh, enough to meet the demand of 4,200 households, the company noted.
