to-the-point India’s NTPC invites bids for 100 MW of solar projects

August 14 – Indian power producer NTPC Ltd (BOM:532555) is inviting online bids for 100 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in the country’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh.
According an invitation for bids this week, the company seeks to select developers for the construction of 10 solar power stations of 10 MW each, under the second phase of the National Solar Mission.
Interested parties can download a Request for Selection document by September 17. The deadline for submitting technical and financial bids is October 12, with technical bids to be opened on October 14.
There is a ceiling of 50 MW for the capacity that can be awarded to one company.
