to-the-point India’s Neyveli Lignite awarding 500-MW solar job

December 7 – Indian firm Neyveli Lignite Corp (NLC) is seeking contractors to develop, build, install and commission 500 MW of solar power capacity in Tamil Nadu state.

NLC is expecting bids by December 20 from solar developers interested in taking on projects of at least 50 MW. The plan is to secure the targeted 500 MW from no more than 10 blocks.

The scope of work includes the procurement of land, design, engineering, manufacturing, supervision, supply, transport, installation, testing and commissioning.
