to-the-point Hungary’s MVM to build 7-MW solar park

September 25 – Hungary’s state-owned energy group MVM Ltd will construct a 7-MW solar park in Pecs, in the southwestern part of the country, Hungarian news agency MTI reported on Thursday.
The system will be installed by the middle of December and will require an investment of HUF 3.5 billion (USD 12.4m/EUR 11.1m), the news agency, said, citing Peter Csizi, an MP for the region.
The project is financed with European Union funds. It is located on 20 ha (49 acre) of local government land, near the Pecs power station.
