to-the-point Blue Earth completes 4.7-MW solar array in Indiana

January 13 – US renewable energy company Blue Earth Inc (NASDAQ:BBLU) on Wednesday announced that the 4.732-MW Lenape II Solar plant has started commercial operations in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The facility includes rooftop and carport photovoltaic (PV) installations. It was built by Blue Earth Solar Inc and owned by NRG Solar DG LLC, a subsidiary of NRG Energy Inc (NYSE:NRG). The output of the plant is being sold to Indianapolis Power & Light Company.
The total capacity of the facility is in direct current (DC).
