to-the-point Amtech says year-to-date solar orders reach USD 27m

March 18 – US thermal processing equipment maker Amtech Systems Inc (NASDAQ:ASYS) said on Thursday it has won about USD 27 million (EUR 23.9m) worth of solar orders since the start of the calendar year.

Among the most recent solar contracts, there is a repeat one for the firm’s next generation diffusion systems, it noted.

Since October 2015, when Amtech’s fiscal year began, the company has recorded a total of USD 50 million in solar orders. The particular segment includes units Tempress Systems Inc, R2D Automation and SoLayTec.
