S-Energy bags 25-MW module order in US
July 2 – South Korean photovoltaics (PV) maker S-Energy Co Ltd (KOSDAQ:095910) said Wednesday it will supply 25 MW of its modules to a unit of German firm Juwi AG for two utility-scale projects in the US state of New Mexico.
As part of the agreement, the company will deliver its SN-series panels which use potential-induced degradation (PID) reducing technology. S-Energy expects to ship the equipment, made in South Korea’s city of Daejeon, between August and November this year.
The contract was awarded by Colorado-based project developer and turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) service provider Juwi Inc. The subsidiary of the German renewables firm is building the solar farms for local utility Public Service Co of New Mexico (PNM), according to the press release.
