I’ve had my ProWeatherStation for over a month now.
It comes in a very well designed box with everything needed to get the station up and running, except five AA size batteries.

The assembly/setup and software installation was straight forward following the enclosed instructions. The […]
web site has the instructions and data sheet available for on line viewing (select – product – then “quick install guide” or “data sheet”

I feel the build quality of the station is very good.

I did have a problem with the station I received (it would randomly drop some outside sensor data) . Dealing with Tycon Power’s
(seller) costumer service/tech support was a very positive experiance, all done via E mail. It appeared that they (cs/ts) didn’t have any other problems to resolve but mine.

Cumulus (donationware) from […] can be used with the ProWeatherStation if you want to upload
your data to the internet. (the included software does not have the internet feature)

A quality product with outstanding support at a good price. ProWeatherStation Wireless Data Logging Weather Station

I am pleased with this weather station. The installation process went well. There were different size miniature bolts and screws. The directions did not call out the differences so I used the wrong ones. But it was a simple fix. If you watch what you are doing and note the different sizes, you may be able to avoid this small problem. The transmitter range is good. I like having inside and outside temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction, rainfall totals, atmospheric barometric pressure, time and date at my fingertips. The inside display is visual well designed. It is also easily reprogrammed. It uses a touch screen and the process is intuitive. For example, the initial setup showed rainfall totals per hour. But my preference is rainfall totals over a 24 hour period. Touch rain on the controller and a “+” button appears on the screen. Touch it and the change was easily made.

Have been using this for a few weeks and find the basics work as advertised. I am quite satisfied. Have not hooked up to computer or got deep into the touch screen stuff though. The reason I even offer a review is that I just wanted the basic indoor/outdoor temp/humidity and wind speed/direction and earlier bought a comparable La Crosse Technology station only to find it was basically junk. Good money wasted. This one seems well designed and works for at least what I have mentioned plus barometric pressure, tendency (forecast), time, date (Haven’t tried the rain gauge yet). Once adjusted, the screen is acceptable to read and touching screen brings back-lighting for a few seconds (Great for a quick look in the middle of the night). Manual isn’t the best but a lot better than the La Crosse. See other reviews for the deeper stuff. The ProWeatherStation Wireless appears to be a good buy but can be purchased for less elsewhere on-line.
