Cant beat the price!,
Update 2/18/11
I installed my Third panel and all went well. Same readings as the other 2 around 4.8a. My other panels are about 5 months old and nothing has changed with the output and they still work good and look good.
I was a little skeptical at first when I was looking at these panels because of the price but I took a chance and got them and im glad I did. They do put out what is listed in the specs so that made me pretty happy. I took these readings a few days ago:
Taken on 10/17/2010
Time 1:00pm
Panel direction: Mouted SW direction
Voltage: panel1 35.3v panel2 35.1v
Amp output Panel1 4.8a panel2 4.8a
I was getting 9.6 amps @ 34.8 volts at my charge controller (Voltage loss due to the 50 foot run of 6 awg cable)
My roof faces south west so im sure the readings would have been a little better with a south facing roof but these panels do what they say and you can’t beat the price.
