Hartek Power gets substation jobs on 330 MW of solar projects in India

July 7 – Indian engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm Hartek Power Pvt Ltd has, during the first quarter of the current fiscal year through June 30, 2017, received orders to install substations for 330 MW of solar projects across the country.
The company said in a statement, as quoted by local media, that it will execute 10 substation projects of up to 132 kV in the states of Punjab, Bihar, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. It did not disclose the value of the contracts.
Hartek expects to connect 500 MW of solar power capacity to the grid in fiscal 2016/17, its chairman and managing director, Hartek Singh, said.
Last fiscal year, the firm hooked to the grid 123 MW of solar parks in Punjab, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar and Karnataka.
