Solid Solar Spot Light,
I’ve looked everywhere on the net to find a good Solar Spotlight for my backyard. Most of the complaints with solar lights is the weak output of light and the short duration of light. This is very true with most of these lights. This light is really well bulit and well designed. You can move the solar panel according to the sunlight easily and it comes with the option of steaking it into the ground or a wall mound kit. After I put it in the sun to charge it up for a few hours it was good to go that night. I was impressed with the output of light. You must realize this will not compare with the real thing but it does the job very well. It’s a very soft look so if you want lots of heavy light then get the real thing and spend a lot of money. For 20 bucks this is a great light. I’ve ordered about 15 at this point to fill in the dark areas of my yard. I have some 15 foot palm trees and put 2 spots on each tree and it looks great. Buy one and do a test like I did and I think you will end up buying more. By the way, out of 15 I bought 1 was not working properly and the customer service was fantastic. They emailed me a ups lable and will swap it and send me a new one.

Best value solar spotlight,
I bought one of these in September, primarily because it would mount on a fence, and the other reviews spoke highly of the amount and duration of light. I am not disappointed, and, am, in fact trying (without a lot of success) to get two more. There are probably other solar lights that will shine brighter and for a longer period. I have a catalog with one claiming to do just that. And it also will mount on a fence. It costs $100. As solar lights go, this one from Gamasonic is brighter than most, and shines longer than most. It shines 15 to 20 feet bright enough to cast a shadow. It is now early November here in Montana and gets dark by 7 PM. So the light is on by then. With a day of bright sunlight, the light is still on at 8 AM, when it is light enough to go out. Granted, it is not full strength after 13 hours of shining, but I would say that it even shines that long is outstanding. After a cloudy day, it will not shine this strong for this long. If you want a really bright light that will shine for longer, get the $100 light – it has 16 LEDs and claims 15 hours. If you don’t need that much or are on budget, get these. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
