Ensupra Grid Tie Inverter 550W – Power from Solar Panel Wind Generator

Ensupra Grid Tie Inverter 550W – Power from Solar Panel, Wind Generator, Hydro or Storage Battery; 12.8VDC-29.3VDC to 110VAC

  • Simply Plug Into Your Wall Electric Outlet (110Volt AC)
  • Save Electricity and Sell Back to Utility Grid
  • Inlet Power Source of 12.8VDC to 29.3VDC from Solar Panel, Wind Turbine Generator, Hydro, Storage Battery or Any other DC Electric Source.
  • Pure Sine-Wave Output, Island Protection, 94% Peak Efficiency,
  • Plug and play. Stack as many as per need.

Ensupra grid tie power inverter can obtain the solar energy from solar panel, and can tie to the grid through its output cable with no extra equipment.
The installation is Do-It-Your Self (DIY).
When the sun shines, the PV panel will produces DC voltage, and the grid tie inverter will change the DC voltage to AC voltage and puts out power to the home grid, saving electricity.

INSTALLATION:
1, Connect the Solar Panel or Wind Turbine s DC supply cables to the DC input terminal of the inverter, be sure that the polarity is correct.

Recommended DC input cable size for maximum output is 8AWG or cables that can handle more than 30A. Optimal length would be less than 8m, longer cables will experience higher voltage drop. The range of output power of Solar Panel or Wind Turbine is 50W~550W.

2, Connect the supplied AC power cord to the inverter and plug it to a home wall socket.

3, The green LED indicators will glow when the grid and DC supply is detected. This indicates the inverter

This gid-tied inverter works as advertised. I am starting with a small 100w 12v single solar module and this was the most affordable micro-inverter at an affordable price that I could find. Installation was easy, just connect the positive wire from the solar module to the positive pole of the inverter and connect the negative wire from the solar module to the negative pole of the inverter. I used grounding lugs to connect the ends of negative and positive wire to the negative and positive poles of the inverter. I crimped the ends of the wire from the DC volt meter (not voltage tester) to the inverter to measure the voltage from the solar modules.

The Ensupra Inverter checks for 12v on the DC side then samples the voltage/frequency on the grid and then synchronizes and connects to the grid. The input voltage ranges from 12v to 29v. Thus anything below 12v will shut down the inverter. Also anything above 29v will also shut down the inverter. There is a built in fan to cool the circuit when it gets hot. When you first turn on the inverter the fan comes on for about 10 seconds. Also during the day the inverter fan will cycle on and off. One thing to note is that when the fan comes on the inverter disconnects from the grid until the fan shuts off.

I can add modules until I outgrown the inverter. However, all i have to do is add a second inverter without scrapping this one. For startup this is a great grid-tied inverter.
