August 3 – Canadian solar carportс дежелопер and electric vehicle (EV) mobility charging firm Renewz Sustainable Solutions Inc said Tuesday that Quebec’s Centre of Excellence in Energy Efficiency (C3E) is providing it with CAD 350,000 (USD 265,750/EUR 241,550) of initial funding.
The C3E fund was set up by multinational miner Rio Tinto and Canadian utility Hydro-Quebec in support of local mobility electrification companies. Its investment will help Renewz accelerate the debut and commercialisation of its technology on the growing transport markets.
The deal gives Renewz access to a vast network of contacts and talent.
“The fact that this unique instrument permits us to accumulate carbon credits through our various projects and repay in kind is a significant boost to the validation of the carbon markets expected to develop in the near future,” said CEO Sass M Peress.
C3E plans to make further investments into Renewz in the near future, according to the press statement.
