California produces 201256 MWh renewables power on June 23

June 24 – Renewable power generation in California, excluding large hydro, inched down to 201,256 MWh on June 23 from 208,948 MWh in the previous day, according to data by the California Independent System Operator Corp (ISO).

The wind power output for the day stood at 80,525 MWh, marking a 7.55% decline. It peaked at 3,911 MW at 1800 Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).

Solar photovoltaic (PV) parks produced 70,933 MWh, compared to 71,368 MWh on June 22. At 1300 PDT a daily peak of 7,110 MW was reached. Solar thermal power plants generated an additional 7,449 MWh.

California also produced a total of 22,193 MWh of geothermal power.
