Building Energy Bosnian entity sign MoU on construction of solar power plants

BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 10 – The energy ministry of Bosnia’s Serb Republic said on Thursday it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Italy’s Building Energy for the construction of solar power plants.

The MoU was signed by the Serb Republic’s energy minister, Petar Djokic, and the director of Building Energy, Fabrizio Zago, the ministry said in a press release.

The Italian company plans to realise one of the Balkan’s most important solar power projects in the Serb Republic, the ministry said, giving no further details.

Building Energy serves both the Italian and foreign markets as an Independent Power Producer from renewable energy sources.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Muslim Croat Federation.
