Does the job,
This cold weather kit is rather expensive, but it does the job. When it first arrived and I saw what it was I was in shock. “I paid almost $200.00 for this?” I had my electrician buddy install it, even though it could be easily done by anyone that can read directions and connect a couple of snap in plugs. We had many nights of sub-zero temps and when I checked the block and battery they were noticeably warmer than the rest of the unit. I started the generator and it turned over flawlessly. I had already spent over $200.00 on the battery and with the temps we get around here I did not want to keep replacing frozen batteries at that price. I would recommend this cold weather kit to anyone in the same situation. It really does do the job as advertised.
