More than adequate,
Although small in size they do put out a nice bright (bright for small solar fixtures) light that is just right mounted on our gate posts.
On the plus side, they come with 2 ground stakes if one would want to use them that way.
On the minus side, ours were missing a couple of the scews need. Would like to have these in metal but suspect that would be unrealistic considering the price.
All in all we are happy with our purchase.
