Vivint Solar narrows Q3 net loss

November 9 – US residential solar company Vivint Solar (NYSE:VSLR) has reduced its non-GAAP net loss in the third quarter of 2016 to USD 39.3 million (EUR 35.4m) from USD 50.3 million a year back.
GAAP net profit attributable to common stockholders rose to USD 16.7 million from USD 468,000.

In July-September 2016, Vivint Solar booked about 59 MW of orders. It installed some 58.8 MW of solar systems, down from 61.4 MW in the prior quarter and from 60.5 MW in Q3 2015. Total cumulative MWs installed reached 634 MW.
