Partners Group invests USD 100m in US solar co Silicon Ranch
April 27 – Switzerland-based private markets investment management company Partners Group has invested USD 100 million (EUR 88.4m) in US solar plants developer and operator Silicon Ranch Corporation on behalf of its clients.
The asset manager led an equity capital increase for Silicon Ranch in which existing investors participated as well, the solar firm said on Wednesday.
“We will work closely with Silicon Ranch’s management team and existing investors to build on the company’s past successes by developing new solar projects, entering new markets and identifying potential acquisition opportunities,” said Todd Bright, head of private infrastructure in the Americas at Partners Group.
Nashville, Tennessee-based Silicon Ranch develops, owns and operates solar power plants in the US. It counts the first large-scale solar facilities in its home state, Georgia, Arkansas and Mississippi within its portfolio.
