AlsoEnergy to provide monitoring for Cypress Creek’s 2 GW solar pipeline
February 5 – Solar-focused monitoring services provider AlsoEnergy said this week it will provide monitoring for Cypress Creek Renewables’ development pipeline of over 2 GW of solar projects.
The projects are all located in the US and are scheduled to be deployed in the next two to three years.
The solar developer, which specialises in projects in the range of 2 MW to 20 MW, currently manages an operating portfolio of more than 330 MW.
In line with the standardised approach it has created, Cypress Creek has picked AlsoEnergy’s PowerTrack offering to be the specified monitoring product for its portfolio.
“We will use AlsoEnergy software to remotely identify, locate, and diagnose performance issues across our growing portfolio,” said Cypress Creek chief executive Matthew McGovern. He added that the technology would allow his company to minimise site visits and reduce operations and maintenance (O&M) costs and noted on the feature for tracking maintenance expenses and production losses.
