France lowers tariffs for PV coming online in Q4
November 3 – France has lowered the tariffs for purchase of electricity from photovoltaic installations connecting to the grid from October to December 2015.
Energy regulator Commission de Regulation de l’Energie (CRE) noted that requests for grid-connection of building-integrated installation smaller or equal in capacity to 9 kWp totalled 18.9 MWp in the third quarter of 2015, down by 34% from a year ago and 19% lower than the figure in the previous quarter. Tariffs for this group went down by 1.5%.
Simplified building-integrated or rooftop systems with a capacity lower or equal to 100 kWp came in at 55.5 MWp, booming by a factor of 5 from a year ago and double on the figure from the previous quarter. Tariffs for this group went down by 2%
