Solid and reliable generator,
This review relates to the European version of this generator which runs slower than the US version (50Hz, not 60Hz).
I bought one of these for a remote farm where the electricity supply is variable, subject to brown outs and occasional outages. My barn has no power and during harvest we work late into the night. We have also had to live in a workshop attached to the barn during renovation of the farm house, so needed an electricity supply there. So the generator has been used both intermittently and running for extended periods of 8-10 hours.
The generator worked flawlessly, it can be set to autostart if required. All operations can be controlled from the key pad and it is extremely easy to operate. The output is sufficient to run a whole house and is of better quality than the electricity feed from my supplier. I ran computers, network equipment including large servers, microwave and conventional ovens, heaters, water heaters and workshop equipment. Servicing is simple and the generator tracks engine hours ensuring servicing is done to schedule. The only negative that I could find is that at 72-77dBA it is noisy in remote locations. I’d prefer 58dBA but such generators cost 5-10x the price of this one.
