Great value, works, but has some design flaws,
A good light, and a great value. Very bright, and you don’t have to hardwire it.
The good:
– 36 LEDs is a lot of light.
– very long cord
– cheap. Lowes wants at leas $100 for something like this
– easy to set up
The bad:
– the light hangs on two screws. I think a security light that can be easily stolen is pretty dumb. To steal it all you would have to do is lift it off it’s hanger.
– it has an on/off swich on the side. Same reason, why do I want a security light someone can switch off?
– you cannot mount the solar panel on a vertical surface and turn it horizontally. So if you mount it on the side of a building at the top, for some periods of the day during some periods of the year, it has to be in it’s own shadow.
